Welbilt Toaster Ovens

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is advising owners who may still have the model TR660 Welbilt toaster oven with rotisserie & griddle to destroy and discard the units. The manufacturer, ApplianceCo. of America, is out of business, and can no longer be contacted, Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSC) report.
The units reportedly contain defective heating elements that could break, causing the ovens glass door to shatter. If this occurs, a short circuit may also occur that cause electric shocks and fire, CPSC says.
