Inventor Antoine has unveiled a device that automatically opens a refrigerator door if a person's hands are full and cannot reach the handle door. It consists of a spring-loaded mounting bracket connected to a foot pedal. When attached to the side of a refrigerator door, a press of the pedal pops the door open. Antoine was granted U.S. patent and is offering to license his invention to manufacturers.
