A Smart-Wash system, a Smart-Rack, and a Smart-Basket increase efficiency and load flexibility.
The Smart-Wash system consists of a lower wash-arm, which supports two outer wash-arms and flushes the self-clean filter throughout the wash cycle. The two outer arms move in a multi-orbital pattern to assure uniform coverage and enable the machines to clean dishes using 25-percent less water than earlier models.
The SmartRack has six rows of folding tines – four full rows in the front and two in the back – that users may manipulate as needed to fit planned loads. The wash-arm in the center of the rack also can be lowered to accommodate larger dinnerware, pots and pans.
The SmartBasket fits into more than 20 locations on the lower rack for easier loads. The basket splits into separate parts with three silverware compartments in each, and adjustable utility shelf on the upper rack holds long utensils and enables users to double stack cups. The shelf may be removed to accommodate larger items, and is stored on the rack floor.
Quiet operation is provided by 1.5-inch insulation wrapped in a quilted sound-reduction backing that covers the top, sides and rear of the tub. Additional insulation up to 2.5-inches thick pads the door, toe kick areas, and service access panel.
The access panel allows Technicians to reach nearly all components through the front of the unit.
