How to Replace Some Parts from Portable Dishwasher

Front Loading Portable Dishwasher

Removing Dishwasher Wood Top
To remove the dishwasher wood top, open door and remove the two (2)  screws located at the top flange of the tub and the two (2) screws located at the back is attached.
Replacing Inlet and drain Hose
- Remove dishwasher wood top.
- Remove the divider bracket and the saddle bracket.
- Lay the dishwasher (put a towel to avoid scratch) on its back and remove the hose from the inlet valve.
- Remove the drain hose from the main motor pump housing.
- Remove the water inlet hose from the coupler.
- Pull the drain hose out at the top and the water inlet hose from the bottom.
- Replace all parts in reverse of the removal procedure.
Removing and Replacing Side Water inlet
- Remove dishwasher wood top.
- Remove screws  from the right side panel.
- Pull the panel away from the tub.
- Place a block of wood between the tub and the panel to hold it away from the tub. This will facilitate working behind the panel.
- Remove nut from inside tub.
- Remove the 3 screws on the outside of the tub that holds the anti-splash bracket and copper “U” bent tube to the tub.
- Side inlet can now be removed from tub by pulling it up between tub and side panel.
- To install side inlet, reverse the removal procedure.
Remove and installing cord reel
- Remove dishwasher wood top.
- Remove screws  from the back that holds the cord real glide in place and slip the cord out.
- Tie a string or wire on the lead cord, so you can pull the cord back in position.
- Lay the dishwasher on its left side and remove bolts that holds the cord real to wires and the rear channel to the cabinet.
- Disconnect the quick connectors and remove the cord reel out from the bottom of the dishwasher.
- Replace all parts in reverse order of removal procedure.
Counterbalance springs adjustment
- Lay the dishwasher on (prevent scratches you can put the towel or blanket between dishwasher and floor) its back.
- Remove the spring hook from the hole and place it in any of the 5holes provided.
- For less tension, move the spring clip forward on the shelf flange and backward for more tension.
You will have to try the door closing in order to determine in which hole to place the spring hook. The springs will have to be placed in either the first or second hole from the front to allow the door to stay open without the weight of the lower rack resting on the open door. The door springs are factory adjusted to close the door without the weight of the lower dish rack.
